9 Reasons You'll Love Living In Jupiter, Florida

Relaxing In The Tropics

The first reason that I love living in Jupiter is that there's a slow pace in this area. The reason for that is we're in the tropics. This is mañana world, where people come for vacation. They visit Jupiter to relax, and that's the way we want to keep it and the way it's going to stay.

The second reason that I love living in Jupiter is that you get a real mix of people from all around the world, from Germany, New York, California, Brazil, and more. You get all walks of life coming here to enjoy the tropical atmosphere, the slow pace, and a very classy environment. While big boats and nice cars are not what Jupiter is all about, it’s kind of a bonus of living in the Jupiter area.

An Ideal Location

The third reason that I really love living in the Jupiter area is that it's in close proximity to everything that you could want. You’re half an hour from Palm Beach International Airport, and you can also hop on the Tri Rail or the Brightline to get down to Miami in 45 minutes to an hour. If you want to hop on 95, you’re an hour and a half from Disney.

Additionally, if you want to go out to the Bahamas, it’s only about three and a half hours away by boat. Jupiter has close proximity to everything without having the congestion of being actually in everything. That’s just another reason I love living in the Jupiter area.

The Cost Of Living

The fourth reason that I love living in the Jupiter area is that the cost of living is very affordable. While you really have this taste of opulence—with Tiger Woods right up the road—you also have Dunkin Donuts down the road. You can go to the intercoastal and get a very expensive meal and watch the mega-yachts roll by, but then you can go to Five Guys around the corner.

You can also roll over to the Walmart parking lot and do a burnout and then go down to the beach and check out the kitesurfers later. Jupiter really has this mix, and you never feel like you're in a Beverly Hills area. While there is that kind of money, you can still get out and enjoy a burger and fries.

Food For Foodies

Another reason that I love living in Jupiter, Florida, is the food. I'm not a prude, but I do love food—and there is some amazing food here in Jupiter. This is especially true of seafood, which is another favorite of mine.

In addition to BurgerFi and Five Guys, there is some impeccably amazing food. You’ve got Tiger's Place, Shuckers, and Guanabanas—which feels like you're in the tropics in a little Tiki hut. There are all kinds of amazing restaurants like the Food Shack, which is literally on the side of a strip mall. This place has world-class food. Jupiter doesn’t have prude food; it has foodie food. And that's what I'm all about.

Great People And Good Weather

The sixth reason that I love living in the Jupiter area is very simple but very important: people are polite and courteous. You don't hear the honking of the horns, you don't have the rush, and you don't have people cut you off. People are just very polite. They'll walk by you in the checkout line and, if you only have one item, let them go ahead of you. They’re very polite here, and I think that matters.

Another reason that I love living in the Jupiter area is that the weather is amazing. Of course, it can get a little bit hot, as it's the tropics. It can get a little bit hot in the summertime about three or four months out of the year. One of the things that I love about the summertime is that the water is the same temperature as the air. It’s absolutely amazing and one of the things that I love about living in the tropics.

Jupiter epitomizes this tropical living. The beaches have crystal blue turquoise water. Our amazing weather is absolutely off the charts.

Outdoor Activities

The eighth reason that I love living in Jupiter, Florida is the outdoor activities. You've got golf, fishing, paddle boarding, kite surfing, mountain biking, jogging, rollerblading, shuffleboard, pickleball, tennis, and more. You have everything you could possibly want to do within 15 minutes of wherever it is that you live in Jupiter. That's a pretty special thing to have that many outdoor activities.

Another reason that I love living in Jupiter, Florida is celebrity spottings. I’m not a celebrity guy; I'm not one of those people who says, “Let's go to Bel Air and look for celebrity mansions and take photos.” However, I do like the occasional celebrity spotting. I've never seen Tiger, but I have gone by his house a couple of times both on the intercoastal and driving up.

I’ve also seen professional athletes around Jupiter; I've even met Joe Namath. There are a lot of professional athletes that live in the area, and I like being around people that have done great things. It’s awesome being around people that have created history and the culture that we have. Getting to see them in person is just another thrill of living in Jupiter, Florida.
